Hunger Will Not Suppress the Resilient People of Gaza

“The enemy cannot suppress the resilient people of Gaza through the weapon of hunger and thirst.”

He emphasized that the tactic of using deprivation to break the will of believers is not new:

“History bears witness that tyrants have always used hunger as a weapon to crush resolve, impose humiliation, and destroy the spirit of resistance. The Umayyads in Damascus sought to subjugate the descendants of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through starvation, aiming to force unconditional surrender upon them.”

Delbari continued:“Today, the same weapon is being used to bring Gaza to its knees—to silence cries of ‘death over disgrace’ and to turn resistance into submission. From the caravan of Karbala’s captives in 61 AH to the present day, the enemy’s goal has been to break the spirit of resistance and force the righteous to surrender. But they fail to realize that the people of Gaza, standing firm atop the mountain of willpower, are the true victors.”

He also highlighted the role of unity in recent victories: “Comprehensive unity among the people, officials, and leaders—under the guidance of the Supreme Leader—was the key to our triumph in the recent 12-day defensive war. The epicenter of this unity has been the Friday prayer pulpits across our beloved Islamic Iran.”
