West Bank: Renewed spate of violations by Israeli forces and settlers

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and settler groups carried out, on Wednesday, a new wave of organized attacks against Palestinian citizens and property in different areas of the West Bank.

In Bethlehem, Israeli forces stormed the Jabel al-Ruwaisat area of al-Walaja village and bulldozed agricultural roads and fences, which had been rehabilitated recently.

Meanwhile, the IOF handed citizens demolition orders against three structures in the village, including an inhabited house and a bakery, under the pretext of unlicensed construction.

The IOF also stormed al-Jaba village in southern Bethlehem and demolished a car wash and an auto body shop.

Chief of the al-Jaba village council Diyab Mashaalah said that the Israeli army also intends to demolish a kindergarten and a municipal building.

In Ramallah, the IOF stormed al-Khalayel area of al-Mughayyir village and bulldozed four tents and three homes, displacing several families.

Recently, a horde of Jewish settlers escorted by soldiers burned a vast tract of agricultural land belonging to local residents between the villages of al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah.

In the southeast of Jerusalem, a group of settlers went on the rampage through an agricultural facility and farmland belonging to the Shakirat family.

Local sources said that settlers attacked sheep, destroyed a tractor, and smashed windows of the facility and its contents, including solar panels, security cameras and the perimeter fence.

In western Salfit, settlers assaulted and injured a farmer called Ayser Shamlawi as he was working his land in the Wad Qana area and stole agricultural equipment and a quantity of prickly pears belonging to him.
