A missile launched from Yemen prompted air raid sirens in Tel Aviv and occupied al-Quds, with “Israeli” authorities closing Ben Gurion Airport and ordering settlers to shelters in Gush Dan.
The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) announced on Friday the successful execution of a missile strike targeting the Lod (Ben Gurion) Airport in occupied Yafa (Tel Aviv), in a direct response to the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza and its genocidal crimes.
Hypersonic missile “Palestine-2” used in targeted strike
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the YAF, confirmed that the missile strike was carried out using a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile, stating that the operation “achieved its objective successfully.” He added that the strike caused widespread panic, forcing “millions of Zionist settlers to flee to shelters” and resulting in the disruption of airport activity.
Saree stressed that the operation was an act of solidarity with the Palestinian people and Resistance fighters in Gaza, saying it was carried out “in victory for the oppressed Palestinian people and their brave fighters” and as a direct response to the Israeli occupation’s “crime of genocide against our brothers in the Gaza Strip.”
Call for Arab and Islamic Support for Gaza
In his statement, Brigadier General Saree called on the Arab and Islamic nations to rise in support of Gaza, urging collective action to confront the humanitarian catastrophe unfolding under the Israeli blockade and continuous bombardment.
If you do not rise for your religion, then rise for your Arab identity. And if not for your Arab identity, then rise for your humanity.
– YAF spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree.
Your turn will come sooner or later
He warned that the consequences of silence would not be limited to Gaza alone. “If the criminal enemy succeeds in executing its plan in Gaza, then your turn will come sooner or later,” he cautioned.
