Pezeshkian: We are ready to attack Israel again; Iran does not accept threats

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized that Tehran is prepared for any military action by the Zionist regime.

In an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera television network, aired on Tuesday evening, Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated that the country’s forces are ready to once again target the depths of the Occupied Territories. According to Pars Today, Pezeshkian added: “We are prepared for any military action by Israel. This regime has struck us, and we have powerfully retaliated deep into the Occupied Territory, but they conceal their casualties.”

He stressed: “Israel sought to change, disintegrate, and eliminate Iran through chaos and the destruction of its system but failed. There is no doubt that infiltrations have occurred in Iran, but the decisive factor has been American technology and the exploitation of its capabilities.”

We do not rely on the certainty of a ceasefire

The Iranian President further stated: “We do not want war, but we also do not rely on the certainty of a ceasefire, and we will defend ourselves with strength. Israel prevents any discussion about the success of our missile attacks, but this regime’s request to stop the war reveals much.”

He continued: “Iran has not surrendered and will not surrender—this is clear to all. However, we believe in diplomacy and dialogue. Regional countries have never taken such a supportive stance toward Iran as they did during the recent war.”

Continued uranium enrichment on Iranian soil

While reaffirming the Islamic Republic of Iran’s opposition to nuclear weapons, Pezeshkian emphasized: “This is our political, religious, humanitarian, and strategic stance. Uranium enrichment on Iranian soil will continue in the future within the framework of international law.”

He insisted: “Any future negotiations must be based on a win-win logic. Iran does not accept threats or dictates. U.S. President Donald Trump says Iran should not have nuclear weapons, and we accept this—not because of Trump’s words, but based on the fatwa of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution. Claiming that Iran’s nuclear program is over is an illusion. Iran’s nuclear capabilities lie not in facilities but in the minds of our scientists.”

    Qatar is Iran’s sister nation

Regarding Tehran’s attack on the U.S. Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, President Pezeshkian added: “We did not attack Qatar and cannot do so. This country is our sister nation, and its people are our brothers. Iran supports them in every way. We did not attack Qatar but rather a U.S. base that had bombed Iran. I understand the feelings and stance of the Qatari people regarding what happened, which is why I spoke by phone with my brother, the Emir of Qatar. Our intentions toward Qatar are good, positive, and brotherly, and we are ready to assist them in any field.”

Pezeshkian also commented on the assassination attempt against him, stating: “That incident was part of Israel’s efforts to assassinate Iran’s political officials after targeting military figures.”
