Former Lebanese Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, issued a statement on Sunday that condemned the terrorist bombing that took place at the Verdun area of Beirut.
Following this condemnation, Hariri chose to blame Hezbollah for Lebanon’s problems, despite the fact the aforementioned Lebanese organization had nothing to do with the terrorist attack on Sunday.
“Our battle with terrorism, explosions, assassinations, and all direct and indirect messages is long, but the sole entity disrupting the state is Hezbollah.”
The former premier followed his attack on Hezbollah by commending his own political organization: the Future Movement.
“Today, we reiterate that the Movement is our responsibility to preserve and protect, no matter the challenges, and we must work together in assuming our various duties towards the Movement.” Hariri concluded his statement by addressing the presidential issue that has yet to be resolved.
