Young man wounded by Israeli gunfire near Dar Salah village


A Palestinian young man suffered a bullet injury when an Israeli soldier opened fire at him near Dar Salah village, east of Bethlehem city.

Media activist Mohamed Awad told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that an Israeli border soldier opened fire at 27-year-old Nabil Sabarneh, from Beit Ummar town in al-Khalil, as he was walking in Wadi al-Humus area, southeast of Jerusalem on Saturday evening.

Awad noted that Sabarneh was en route to his workplace in the occupied holy city.

He added that the young man suffered a severe bullet injury in one of his feet and was taken to a medical center in Dar Salah village to receive first aid before he was transferred to al-Hussein hospital in Beit Jala city.
