Yemen Forces Fire Ballistic Missile on Saudi’s Aramco in Jizan

Yemeni revolutionary forces fired local-made ballistic missile on Saudi national oil company in Jizan.

Al-Massirah TV station reported on Friday that Rocket Force in the Yemeni Army and the Popular Committees launched “Badr-1” ballistic missile on Aramco company in Jizan.

It is the second time that the Saudi company has been hit by such missile. Last week, on March 22, the revolutionary forces also hit the company in Najran by “Badr-1”, Al-Massirah added.

For its part, Saudi media confirmed that a missile was launched at Jizan but claimed its air defenses managed to intercept it.

Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya TV station, said the Saudi Arabian air defense systems intercepted a ballistic missile near Jizan believed to have been launched by Houthi fighters.

Yemen has been since March 25, 2015 under a brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition, which also includes UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Sudan and Kuwait, in a bid to restore power to fugitive former president Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.

Tens of thousands of Yemenis have been injured and killed in Saudi-led strikes, with the vast majority of them are civilians.

However, the allied forces of the Yemeni Army and popular committees established by Ansarullah revolutionaries have been heroically confronting the aggression with all means, inflicting huge losses upon Saudi-led forces.
