Osama Kharitah, a notorious commander of Ahrar al-Sham, was gunned down by unknown raiders in Northern Dara’a, local sources reported on Saturday.
Osama Kharitah nom de guerre Abu Zeid al-Askari, a senior commander of Ahrar al-Sham, was killed by unknown assailants near the town of Ma’arat al-Masrin in Northern Idlib, the sources confirmed.
The sources further said that Osama was the commander of Ahrar forces in the region around the towns of Fua’a and Kafraya.
Field sources confirmed last month that Abu Hamzah Turki, a notorious field commander of Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at or the Levant Liberation Board) was assassinated by unknown attackers in Northwestern Idlib.
The sources said that Al-Nusra Commander Abu Hamzah Turki was assassinated by unknown raiders near the town of Bireh Armanaz in Northwestern Idlib.
Tensions and differences have been on rise among terrorists after the rapid advances of the Syrian Army troops in Southeastern Idlib.
