Turkey expels 1200 Daesh suspects, ambassador

Iraq and Turkey agreed for further cooperation to prevent terrorists from entering the Turkish territories.

The Turkish defence minister will visit Iraq to discuss means of combating Da’ish, a statement by the Iraqi Security and Defence Commission disclosed.

The Commission had talks, yesterday, with the Turkish ambassador to Iraq Faruk Qaimaqchi to discuss the possibilities of cooperation to combat Da’ish gunmen, particularly their entry through the Turkish territories.

Ambassador Qaimaqchi confirmed that 1200 suspects for joining Da’ish organization were deported, with moves to enhance border security.
