Terrorists Nabbed in Tehran: Iranian Intelligence Official

While a number of terrorist teams carried out operations in Tehran on Wednesday morning, an intelligence official announced that a number of terrorist elements were arrested before taking the time to make any move.

“A number of terrorist teams in the city of Tehran carried out terrorist operations on Wednesday morning, while members of one terrorist team were arrested before taking any action,” the head of the counterterrorism bureau of Iran’s Intelligence Ministry announced.

Two other teams attacked the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini and the Parliament’s building, he added, saying one of the assailants at the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini was shot dead and a suicide bomber blew himself up.

The official added that another terrorist team opened fire on people at the parliament’s premises and began a shooting spree at one of the administrative buildings of the parliament, noting that the terrorists there have been besieged.
