Syrian Army Targets ISIL’s Oil Tankers in Sweida Province


Syrian Army troops traced and targeted ISIL’s fuel convoys in Eastern Sweida and destroyed most of the tankers, military sources said.

“At least four fuel tankers of the ISIL were destroyed in the Syrian soldiers’ attacks on the terrorists’ convoy near the village of Barik,” the sources said.

“In the meantime, three oil tankers of ISIL were targeted by the army forces near al-Rashida wells, killing also several terrorists.”

“Also, ISIL’s machinegun-equipped vehicles were destroyed in the government forces’ offensives in Khirbet Sa’ad, while the Takfiri group suffered a heavy death toll in Khirbet al-Qassar in Northeaster Sweida.”

In relevant development on Wednesday, the Syrian army continued its military advances in Sweida and inflicted heavy losses and casualties on the ISIL terrorists in the Eastern and Northeastern parts of the province.

The army units pounded the military positions and gathering centers of the ISIL terrorists in the village of al-Qaser, to the East of Alia Hill, to the East of Bouthaina Hill, Kherbet Saad, al-Masyada, Rajm al-Dawleh and al-Saqiyeh in Eastern and Northeastern Sweida province.

Scores of ISIL terrorists were killed and injured in the Syrian army offensives.
