The Syrian Army troops’ operations against the militant groups in Hama province claimed the lives of many Takfiri terrorists, including their commander, informed sources said Monday.
Mohammad Ibrahim al-Rayyes, a senior field commander of the terrorist groups in Hama province, was killed alongside at least seven other terrorists in the Syrian army’s offensive, the sources said.
“The militant group’s military hardware also sustained serious damage in the army operations,” the sources added.
The Syrian government forces’ victories against the militant groups across Syria, including Hama province, have been eye-catching in recent weeks and the terrorist groups are withdrawing form more positions under the heavy attacks of the Syrian ground force, backed up by the Syrian and Russian air forces.
On Sunday, the Syrian army troops and popular forces continued to tighten noose on the Takfiri militants in Hama province, inflicting heavy losses on them.
The Syrian forces killed a number of militants in al-Lahhaiya town in the Northern countryside of Hama.
Militants’ vehicles and weapons were also destroyed in the military operations.
