Qur’an Competition Starts in Tehran

The 31st International Qur’an Competition started in Tehran on Monday, May 26; an event that hosts reciters and memorizers from over 70 countries besides a number of Islamic masters and Qur’an scholars.

15 jurors including 5 Iranian and 10 foreign masters will judge this year’s competition dubbed “Qur’an and Islamic lifestyle.”

The annual competition is held to encourage the public to read the Holy Qur’an and to act upon the teachings of the Holy Qur’an.
