A 16-year-old Palestinian boy was killed before dawn Tuesday in an Israeli military incursion into Jenin refugee camp.
Local sources told PIC that more than 200 Israeli soldiers raided the refugee camp and fired shots at a group of youth, who were watching the advance of the soldiers into the camp, killing Yousef Abu Zagha, 16, on the spot.
They said that a number of young men were wounded with metal bullets and others were treated for teargas inhalation fired by the Israeli forces during confrontations that ensued in more than one area in the camp.
The sources noted that the soldiers rounded up four citizens after breaking into dozens of houses, adding that the soldiers deliberately wreaked havoc in all raided homes.
Angry residents marched after dawn prayers in the camp streets carrying the body of the boy and demanding reprisal.
