Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Sayyed Ayatollah Imam Ali Khamenei has urged presidential candidate not to count on foreigners for development of the country and economic prosperity.

Addressing a meeting of Iranian officials and ambassadors of Islamic countries on Tuesday morning, Ayatollah Imam Ali Khamenei asserted “as previously stated, candidates need to make the promise to the people that, for development of the country, economic prosperity and resolving issues, they will restrain from looking outside borders and will mainly rely on the nation.”

At another part of their remarks, the Iranian Leader recalled that when the Islamic Republic emerged, a branch of divine ruling emerged which is still persisting. “Enemies of human societies began to fight against Islam which is the main source of development in society while Islam is capable of putting an end to the injustice against humanity.”

Ayatollah Khamenei later underscored that today, US and Zionists are leading these hostilities adding “they are taking up the most violent struggle against the Islamic Republic of Iran due to the fact that Islam is more outstanding here and ground are further prepared for practical adherence to it.”
