Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei on Monday commended the Navy for the successful drills in the Persian gulf.
The Supreme Leader praised the Navy in a message conveyed by Brigadier-General Mohammad Shirazi to the Public Relations Office of the Navy base in the Persian Gulf.
Shirazi told rank and file of the Navy involved in wargames in the Persian Gulf that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Seyed Ali Khamenei acknowledged successful performance of the Navy in applying the latest defensive hardware in the wargames.
‘Mohammad Rasoulallah’ wargames are currently underway in southern Iran.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Shirazi met and conferred with senior army commanders present in the 6-day maneuvers.
‘Mohammad Rasoulallah’ war games began in the Persian Gulf early on Thursday in a 2.2 million sq. km area stretching from east of Hormuz Strait to southern parts of the Gulf of Aden.
