ISIL’s Command Center Destroyed in Syrian Army Attacks in Deir Ezzur


Syrian Army’s artillery and missile units opened heavy fire at ISIL’s positions in Deir Ezzur city, destroying a main command and control center of the terrorists.

Syrian artillery units and tanks shelled ISIL’s strongholds in al-Hamidiyeh neighborhood, destroying the group’s main command center in the district and killing 18 militants.

In the meantime, Syrian fighter jet pounded ISIL’s centers in Tal Brouk in Northwestern countryside of Deir Ezzur.

Syrian Army troops, backed up by the country’s fighter jets, engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL in al-Mura’yeh, al-Huweiqa, al-Hamidiyeh, Huweijet Qate’a, near Deir Ezzur military airport and al-Jafrah, inflicting major losses on the terrorists’ military hardware in large scale.

In relevant developments in the province on Tuesday, Syrian fighter jets carried out several combat sorties over the battlefields in the Eastern Province of Deir Ezzur to help the country’s soldiers beat ISIL terrorists back from their positions.

The Syrian warplanes played a crucial role in pushing ISIL back from nearby areas of Deir Ezzur airbase, while the army troops stormed ISIL’s heavily bombed defense lines, inflicting major casualties on the militants.

Syrian army troops, backed up by Syrian fighter jets and army’s missile units, engaged in heavy fighting with ISIL fighters near Panorama in the Southwestern countryside of Deir Ezzur city, killing and wounding tens of them.

ISIL’s gathering in al-Huweiqa, al-Huweijeh al-Sakar, al-Sina’ah, Hatleh, al-Jafrah and al-Mura’yeh were targeted in Syrian air raids as well.
