ISIL Transferring Physicians from Deir Ezzur to Raqqa, Mosul

The ISIL terrorist group has called on a number of specialists in Deir Ezzur to prepare themselves and their family members to move to other regions, local sources disclosed on Saturday.

“Given the large number of wounded members in Mosul and Raqqa and lack of physicians, the ISIL has forced a number of physicians in Deir Ezzur, specially those residing in al-Mayadeen and Bu Kamal, to move to specified regions in Mosul and Raqqa,” the sources added.

They said ISIL transfers most of its wounded members from al-Bab and other regions East of Aleppo province to Raqqa hospitals while those injured in areas and towns near Mosul to the oil-rich city’s medical centers, and added, “Certain districts of Deir Ezzur are witnessing sporadic clashes between the Syrian army and the ISIL but clashes are not as heavy as Mosul and Aleppo and therefore, the ISIL has decided to transfer the physicians to those regions.”

Local sources in Deir Ezzur disclosed last week that the ISIL terrorist group had received a fifth cargo of food, medical and pharmaceutical aids sent by the Arab states to the Syrian city of Bu Kamal.

“Several trucks carrying foodstuff and pharmaceutical aid have been sent to ISIL-controlled areas by certain Arab countries in the Persian Gulf on the pretext that these are aid cargoes sent by Syrian expatriates to their families in Deir Ezzur province,” an informed source told FNA on Tuesday.

The source noted that the aids for the ISIL terrorists is the fifth cargo being sent in less than a month, and said similar aids are sent to the Turkish-backed terrorists that are deployed in the ISIL-controlled Azaz city, although the last such cargo has been delayed.

He went on to say that not only the militants with links to Turkey, but also the predominantly Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) let the trucks packed with medical and food aids go through their lands despite the fact that they know that the aids are destined for the ISIL terrorists.

The source said the cargo sent by the Arab states to the ISIL has now been transferred to a warehouses along the Bu Kamal-Deir Ezzur road that is under control of the terrorist group.
