Founding Chairman of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties Jose de Venecia said the ICAPP values Iran’s nuclear agreement, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the role it plays in global peace.
The official reiterated that reaching peace in the world and the region needs Iran’s support.
He pointed to Iran’s role as a link among Asian parties, and said the political parties’ problems can be resolved through cooperation.
The 29th Meeting of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) Standing Committee, and the 2nd Special Conference on the Silk Road opened in Iran International Conference Center, Tehran, on Friday.
The ICAPP is hosted by Iran’s Islamic Coalition Party, and will be attended by some 100 leaders, secretary generals and senior officials of 40 parties and political organizations from 25 Asian countries, as well as officials from some regional and international organizations.
