Lebanon’s Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah rejected US allegations against Hezbollah.
‘US accusations against Hezbollah of being involved in drug are baseless, and the party considers it as religiously prohibited,’ Lebanese media “Al-Manar” quoted Nasrallah as saying on Friday marking anniversary of Quneitra martyrs.
Nasrallah denied Hezbollah role in any criminal act and held the CIA responsible for drug dealing to destroy various communities.
He condolenced and congratulated the families of Hezbollah martyrs claimed by Israeli air strike on Syria’s Quneitra.
‘The sacrifices made by the martyrs were behind all the victories over the Zionist-American scheme in the region,’ he said.
He went on to say that Hezbollah was not involved in any form of drugs trade.
‘US Justice Department aims at starting an investigation into Hezbollah involvement in criminal acts to classify it as a criminal organization,’ he added.
‘Hezbollah supports the Lebanese government and army in face of all the Zionist measures at the controversial border positions,’ Al Manar quoted Nasrallah as saying.
According to Lebanese media Sayyed Nasrallah warned the Zionist enemy against any provocative measures on the Lebanese-Palestinian border.
‘Nasrallah stressed importance of avoiding all forms of normalizing ties with the Zionist entity.’
