Erdogan signs Turkey-Israel normalization deal


Turkish President Erdogan on Wednesday approveda normalization deal with Israel, which was recently passed by the parliament and was already approved in the Israeli Cabinet.

With the signing of this deal, both states will exchange ambassadors in the next few weeks

Turkey’s parliament approved the normalization deal on August 20.

As part of the deal however, Israel will have to pay $20 million as compensation for the loss of lives during the Mavi Marmara flotilla incident in which 10 Turkish activist who tried delivering aid to Gaza were killed by Israeli forces.

In return Turkish regime will drop all cases and Israeli soldiers and individuals will not be found liable or responsible.
