The Seventh Nanotechnology Festival and Exhibition (Iran Nano 2014) started work in Tehran in the morning of 6 October 2014 in the presence of Dr. Saeed Sarkar, the Secretary of Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council (INIC).
The seventh festival includes different sections, including advanced equipment in the field of nanotechnology, health and hygiene, agriculture, building, water and environment, nanotechnology raw materials, polymer, and composites. Companies active in the field of nanotechnology have presented their nano products in the above mentioned sections, which had been previously entered the market.
Prototype Section is being held in the exhibition for the second year, and it is considered as one of the most important sections in Iran Nano 2014. Among 240 samples evaluated in this section, 22 have been chosen as final projects and they have been put on display in the exhibition to attract investors.
Similar to last year, Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council will invest up to $100,000 on projects that have the potential to enter the market.
School and University Students Section, Universities, Societies, and Nano Journals are among other sections of the Seventh International Nanotechnology Festival, which present their achievements and introduce their activities.
Iran Nano 2014 is being held in the Persian Gulf Hall in Tehran International Permanent Fairground on 6-9 October 2014, and it is open to all visitors.
