The Syrian government forces targeted positions of the foreign-backed Takfiri militants in the coastal province of Lattakia on Tuesday, leaving 20 terrorists, including 15 Chechens, dead.
The army targeted militants’ positions in al-Rawda village in the Northern countryside of Lattakia, killing 20 terrorists, including 15 Chechens.
On Monday, the Syrian forces killed 24 Takfiri terrorists in military operations in Lattakia.
The army targeted militants’ movements and positions in al-Shahrora village and in the vicinity of the police station of Zahia village in the Northern countryside of Lattakia, killing 24 terrorists and destroying their arms and ammunition, a military source said.
Meanwhile, the army tightened noose around terrorists in al-Hayat village of Rabea’a town, and destroyed their supply routes.
On Saturday, the army backed by the popular defense groups killed at least 80 terrorists in military operations against the Takfiri terrorists in the countryside of Lattakia.
Syria has been grappling with a deadly crisis since March 2011. The violence fuelled by Takfiri groups has so far claimed the lives of over 240,000 people, according to reports.
