At least 14 foreign nationals were killed during a suicide attack in Afghanistan’s capital city of Kabul on Monday, security officials said.
The officials indicated that the 14 Nepalese nationals were dead as aresult of the attack which took place in Kabul’s Benayi area. The incident also left at least 5 others injured, including four Afghans, Khaama Press reported.
The Afghan Ministry of Interior spokesperson Sediq Sediqi, earlier said at least 14 people were killed and 8 others were wounded in the attack.
The incident took place around 6:00 am after a suicide bomber targeted a mini bus in Benayi area as it was carrying the Nepalese nationals who were apparently security personnel.
No group has so far claimed responsibility of the attack.
